Bura Dingač


The Bura Dingač wine comes from Plavac Mali, the type of native grape from the Pelješac peninsula and the Dalmatian islands.

The name refers to the small blue grains that the wines produce: “plavac” refers to what is blue and “mali” means small.

Plavac Mali is known for the production of wines that are rich in flavor and high in alcohol and tannins, such as Dingač.

Aging: 10 months in French, American and Croatian oak barrels of 225 liters and 16 months in bottle


Tasting note

The wine is clear ruby reddish in color with purple tones. Medium viscosity, medium concentrations. Cheerful young color.

On the nose: clean, very fine quality, long lasting, very intense. Fruity accentuated, dark plum, blueberry, dried, dried fig. Florality in the form of violets, a lot of cocoa, carob, chocolate, vanilla. Red pepper, clove, very pleasant smell. Ripe fruit on the nose like a perfume scent.

In the mouth: dry, warm, soft. Dense, oily, medium acid, tannins high but phenomenally soft and fruity, harmonious. Fruity in the mouth, dark plums, carob, dried figs, dark cherries, vanilla, lots of spices. Very tasty, well balanced. Long-lasting taste, full-bodied wine. Harmoniously, serve from a wide large glass, should not be decanted, at 16 ° C, with red meat, chocolate, mature cheeses. The wine can be consumed now but also for the next 10 years with ideal storage. Really good. 94/100


Opis vina

Vino je bistro rubinsko crvenkaste boje sa ljubičastim tonovima. Srednja viskozost, srednje koncentracije. Vesela mlada boja.

Na nosu: čisto, vrlo fina kakvoća, dugotrajno, vrlo intenzivno. Voćnost naglašena, tamna šljiva, borovnica,  suhica, sušena smokva. Floralnost u vidu ljubice, jako puno kakaa, rogača, čokolade, vanilije. Crveni papar, klinčić, jako ugodan miris. Zrelo voće na nosu poput parfema miris.

U ustima: suho, toplo, mekano. Gusto, uljato, kiselina srednja, tanini  visoki ali fenomonalno mekani i voćni, skladni. Voćnost u ustima, šljive tamne, rogač, sušene smokve, tamna  višnja, vanilija, puno začina. Vrlo ukusno, dobro izbalansirano. Dugotrajanog okusa, vino punog tijela. Harmonično, poslužiti iz široke velike čaše, ne treba dekantirati, na 16 ° C, uz crvena mesa, čokoladu, zrele sireve. Vino se može konzumirati sada ali isto tako do narednih 10 godina uz idealno skladištenje. Jako dobro.  94/100
